The judging of the XLI MAFOSZ Salon has been completed, with 40 communities (including the KMFT collection) participating with 923 entries. Imre Horváth A-MAFOSZ/s, EFIAP/s, President of MAFOSZ, László Sallai (Cegléd Photo Club), Miklós Prauda A-Mafosz/b, EFIAP (Contrast Photographic Society) were the jury members. The judging was in two rounds. In the first stage, the jury decided on the images to be exhibited by scoring (1-10) (the maximum score was 18 points); 93 photos from 31 groups of artists (10.1% of the entries) were exhibited. In the second step, the jury decided the winners and the order of the first 9 photos in a separate round.Among the clubs, the Wildlife Hungarian Nature Photographers Association came 1st on the basis of the average score; Kanizsa Fotóklub came 2nd and Képolvasók Fotóklub Association came 3rd. The KMFT won 23rd place (332 points) with a collection of 20 submitted images, which were selected jointly at the monthly online meeting on 21.06.2024. The Rákosmente Fotóklub took first place based on the total number of points of the exhibited images. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners in the individual competition were awarded with a certificate and a medal, the special prize winner with a certificate by MAFOSZ. Special prize goes to Tiborné Göldner (Duna Fotóklub Egyesület) for her work entitled Hűsölő (Cooling).
