Hajnalka Kertész

Transylvania

I was born in Odorheiu Secuiesc in 1973. I graduated from the Eszterházy Károly Teacher Training College in Eger, Hungary. Since then I have been living in my hometown and teaching in the surrounding villages.
When I was in high school I bought my first camera, a Smena 8. Since 2005, I have been hunting rare moments of nature and people with a digital camera. I have been admitted to the Homoród Photography Club from 2017, to the Romanian Photographic Artists Association from 2021, to the World Association of Hungarian Photographers from 2022, and to the Carpathian Basin Photographic Society from 2023. I have participated and exhibited my pictures in several national and international photo competitions. I was awarded the Károly Szathmáry Pap Gold Medal in 2021.
My images reflect my enthusiasm for photography, the energizing power of which I would like to share with the public.

As Hajnalka sees the world around her.
