The National Association of Hungarian Photographic Artists is launching a photo competition for its member organisations and their members, called MAFOSZ Salon, in the form of a DIGITAL Salon. The aim is to showcase the achievements of contemporary Hungarian photography by exhibiting the latest works of the photographic art groups.
Each member organisation of the Association could apply with a collection of up to 24 images, with a minimum of 18 images per member and a maximum of 3 images per author. Only palette works that had not been shown at the previous MAFOSZ Salon could be submitted to the MAFOSZ Salon.
The Hungarian Photographic Society of the Carpathian Basin (KMFT) is also participating in the competition, after the Carpathian Basin Institute in Szeged paid the annual membership fee. The submitted works were selected at the KMFT online meeting on 7 June with the support of István Tóth AFIAP, ESFIAP and were subsequently uploaded to the MAFOSZ website. Judging will take place until mid-August 2024. Until then, good luck to all participants!
